Easter weekend is a popularĀ and busy time in Wilmington, NC. Over the last few weeks, flowers and trees have begun to bloom, the temps are getting warmer and the signs of spring are all around us!
Easter weekend is a celebration of new beginnings, and because of this, the folks at River Bluffs, Wilmington’s popular riverside village community, have pulled together a fun line-up of Easter happenings in the area, so get outside and enjoy!
Friday, 3/25
4th Friday Gallery Night
Starting at 6pm, take a self-guided tour of downtown WilmingtonĆ¢ā¬ā¢s galleries, studios and art spaces featuring beautiful exhibitions of various artistic genres. Presented by the Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County, 4th Fridays also include opening receptions, artist discussions, demonstrations, live music, wine, food and more! Dinosaur Egg Hunt
From 10am to 1pm, The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher will give kids Ć¢ā¬ā age 3 to 10 Ć¢ā¬ā the chance to create a special dinosaur egg basket and search for candy-filled Ć¢ā¬Ådinosaur eggsĆ¢ā¬Ā in the Aquarium garden. Southport Spring Festival
Take a short drive south to historic Southport and celebrate spring at the annual Spring Festival in Franklin Square Park.
