With Memorial Day upon us, we wanted to share a few noteworthy events and community notices.

TOMORROW! Alice’s Table Flower Arranging Event

Live Bands
This Friday, May 25th John Toppins will be playing at Porches from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

This Sunday, May 27th The Awkward Silents will be playing from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

Farm Market 
NEW VENDORS! Join us this Saturday the 26th on the Porch of Porches Cafe for some fresh produce and cut flowers from the River Bluffs Farm, Ready-made meals by Feast for the Gods, and a new vendor Home Body Field Goods.

About Home Body Field Goods – Lauren Jones (maiden name – Conger) will be at the Farm Market this Saturday with her line of handmade soaps, deodorants, and honey as well as some examples from her clothing line. 

Some of you have seen Lauren’s products last year at the Farm Market or at Wrightsville Beach Farmer’s Market, at the Brooklynn Arts District events, and in the Edge of Urge shops in downtown Wilmington and Raleigh. COMMUNITY NOTICES

Memorial Weekend Closures – Porches Cafe and the Sales Center will be closed on Monday.

Community Gate Access – There will be no guard on duty on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
