Operation Hope Front | Save The Date!

On Saturday, October 27th from 4:00pm-6:30pm we will be hosting a Harvest Party in partnership with Scotts Hill Baptist Church to serve the ministry, Operation Hope Front.

Operation Hope Front is a ministry with a purpose to engage, encourage, and equip military wives with God’s love and promises. This is a ministry that serves families whose husbands/dads are deployed, stationed at Camp Lejeune.

Operation Hope Front has helped countless military wives and families thrive and be encouraged in spite of the numerous challenges of the military lifestyle.

The Harvest Party will be an opportunity for River Bluffs as a community to encourage. We will be providing “Trunk or Treat”, drinks, hot dogs, etc. on the patio at Porches along with a fire pit. This is an opportunity for children of all ages, their moms, and dads, if available, for an evening of fun and enjoyment at River Bluffs.

Trunk or Treat: we will be closing the area around Davis Square so that the children can go trick or treating around the square safely from the trunks of your car or back of your golf cart; how much fun the children will have walking from trunk to golf cart collecting candy that will overflow their bags. Chair Road will remain open for guest parking and safety for River Bluffs.

This event is open to the residents of River Bluffs only. Children under 12 who reside in River Bluffs are welcome to join in Trunk or Treating accompanied by a parent. This is a family-friendly event. Everyone is encouraged to dress up for the occasion!

Sign up to participate to help as a volunteer at the event and/or to participate in the Trunk or Treat. There are many jobs and opportunities to serve from set-up/clean-up to baking cupcakes, etc.

The Harvest Party is scheduled to end at 6:30pm, for participants in the event from River Bluffs and Scotts Hill Baptist Church, we ask that you remain at the fire pit and have some fun; BYOB and dessert/roasting of s’mores will be provided as a thank you.
