Good afternoon,

As you may have heard, temperatures are expected to drop below freezing tomorrow evening. Please make sure to cover any plants you want to protect and also make sure that your irrigation system is off. We recommend bleeding the pressure from the system at your back flow preventer or you can reach out to Yardnique (for an additional charge) to winterize the irrigation system. This will help prevent damage to the lines and sprinkler heads. If  you are an early morning walker remember that a good portion of the riverwalk is above the surface and for that reason, moisture on the deck is likely to freeze more easily. Exercise care when ice is present.

Don’t forget the Neighborhood Oyster Roast this coming Saturday night at Porches. The oysters (and other amazing selections-Brunswick Stew, sliders, vegetarian options etc.) will be free along with a cash bar. In order to have a proper head count for the preparation of the food, we ask that (if you haven’t already) contact Porches at 675-9090 to let them know how many will be attending.

Have a great week.
