Hi River Bluffs neighbors. It’s been awhile since we’ve sent out any Community Watch (CW) news, so we want to briefly highlight the following three items.
  • First, over the past week, you may have noticed Sheriff’s deputies enforcing the speed limits on Chair Road. This is consistent with neighborhood complaints and our request for their help to reduce speeding. Please continue to drive within the speed limits on Chair Road and the approach to River Bluffs.
  • Second, there are several hurricane preparedness documents available on the CW library (on the River Bluffs portal.) Just click on the “library” heading after you access the CW site. You’ll note that several documents contain specific information for River Bluffs residents and another is the American Red Cross hurricane preparedness checklist. These documents came in handy last September (pre-Hurricane Florence).
  • Finally, please continue to pay attention to things in and around your neighborhood and speak up if something doesn’t look right. This is the heart and soul of the CW program. If you do see something that concerns you, don’t hesitate to call 911. The Sheriff’s Office encourages us to call when suspicious arise and they say false alarms are a routine part of their job. So…when in doubt, point it out!
That’s it for now.  We hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer.
