Update from Lori’s Message from 12/11-
Dear River Bluffs Neighbors,
Your amazing holiday spirit never ceases to amaze me. We collected over $1,800 more for the Greeters in 2019 vs. 2018 with over 85% participation. We ended up with a total of $5,090. The greeters received their cards last night. Each card had a list of all residents that participated. Ron and Scott each received $2,290 and Bob received $510. Thanks again for your generosity. Happy Holidays, Lori Nicholls
Thank you all for your generous contributions thus far! We now have a total of a little over $4,000. For those who haven’t had the opportunity to donate yet, you can still drop off contributions into the red mailbox hanging on the wall to the right of my front door (216 Camber Drive).  You can’t miss my house, its the brick garden home on the corner of Camber and Cornubia. There is also a 13ft LED Christmas tree in the front yard.  Lol! Please put cash donations in an envelope with your name on it.  If you prefer to give a check, please make it out to myself, Lori Nicholls.
Please note that I will begin to cash the checks within the next couple of days so that I am able to provide a large check to each of the greeters. The point was raised that our part-time person works an average of 8 hours a week therefore a breakout of 45/45/10 is more appropriate than 40/40/20.  Thus, each of the full-time greeters will receive 45 percent, and the part-time individual will receive 10% of your contributions. The last day to drop of money/checks will be this coming Sunday, December 15th.  At that point, I will print out a list of those who contributed to include with each Holiday card.  I will let you know what each of the Greeters receive and when they receive it.  Also, I want you to know that I am tracking the dollar amount of each contribution on an excel spreadsheet in case anyone wants to confirm that their donations have been counted. Thanks again for your generous donations!  Lori Nicholls

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We are now in the season of giving.  Our greeters not only provide a wave and smile as we enter the community, they do an excellent job of maintaining a safe environment for our community throughout the year.  Last year residents showed their gratitude by providing a generous donation to our Greeters as a holiday gift from us. I will be your point of contact for donations again this year. In the past, I suggested that each household donate $30 to be split 40/40/20 among the three Greeters based on full-time/part-time hours. Obviously, this was only a suggested amount, some gave less, and many gave more.  We were able to collect over $3,000 last year which was greatly appreciated by the Greeters. I have a red metal postal box hanging on the wall outside next to my door (216 Camber Drive).  Please feel free to drop off your donations to this box at anytime. You can leave a check made out to Lori Nicholls or cash.  If you leave cash please place it in an envelope with your name on it.  I will check the box several times a day. I am tracking all donations for accounting purposes. You can reach me at lorilee0612@gmail.com or 571-274-7481 with questions.
