Good evening,

I hope everyone was able to enjoy this amazing summer day. The weekend looks like it will be beautiful as well and remember that the riverwalk is “open for business” (subject to social distancing of course). The Governor just released an order statewide, effective Monday at 5:00, requiring that citizens remain at home until further notice. There are a number of essential services that are exempt, such as construction and real estate and you will still be able to shop for groceries. Port City Daily has made its articles available to everyone and you can read the actual order at www.portcitydaily.com. We will continue to update you as more information becomes available. This will not have an impact on the to-go orders at Porches and we will plan to continue that Tuesday through Saturdays until further notice. Thank you all very much who made orders today and you will be able to order tomorrow as well. Chloe will send out the new menu options for next week late tomorrow afternoon.

With all of this going on I thought you might appreciate something a little more upbeat to review over the weekend. If you have gone through the videos on our website you have likely seen the ones with Burrows walking the community with Lara Berkley, a local landscape architect. Lara has designed most of the landscaping around our amenities and Burrows thought it would be a good idea to get her to put together something that highlighted not only native plants within River Bluffs, but also suggestions about plantings you may choose to add around your home. Burrows hired Lara to put this together and you can use the link below to access the “River Bluffs Landscape Guide”. It is a great way to learn about the vegetation in the community and should make for some good weekend reading. https://riverbluffsliving.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/River-Bluffs-Plant-Guide-2020-sm.pdf

Have a great weekend and take care to be “socially distant”. We will all get through this together by staying apart for just a little while longer.
