Good evening,
Hope everyone’s week has been productive and dry. Our sales activity continues to be robust and as I’m sure you’ve seen throughout the community, construction along with it. Work on the completion of Jenoa Loop back in Rosewood Landing continues and upon completion will add an additional thirty-five homesites and twenty-four garden homes. The waterline construction work on Chair Road has been completed and crews will be completing testing and job site cleanup over the next several weeks. Home construction continues within each of the community’s neighborhoods and the first Mariner’s Watch townhome will be completed in the next three to four weeks. The Pavilion construction is done as well and there will be another communication about the use of that facility next week. All signs seem to indicate (at least for now) that sales will continue at an aggressive pace.
After serving as its founding Managers, Alan Morris and Jane Love are stepping down as the co-managers of the Community Watch club/program. Their efforts over the last several years have been most appreciated throughout the community. Carl Ciervo and Bruce Williams have graciously agreed to serve as the new co-managers of the Community Watch program and you’ll be hearing more from them as spring approaches. We had a transition meeting this past week and I’d like to thank Alan and Jane for their service and Carl and Bruce for stepping in.
Several months ago the Governor of North Carolina allowed gyms and fitness centers to be re-opened and many of you were glad to be able to get back to workout routine. If you do choose to open the windows in the fitness center, please make sure you close them as opening them increases the humidity levels and they have been found open on several mornings. Thanks for your help with this. Additionally, the Governor’s order still requires that patrons of a gym or fitness center to wear a mask at all time while in the facility. That has reportedly not been happening all the time in the fitness center and that is not something that will be allowed to continue. If there additional instances of individuals not wearing masks in the fitness center we will close it. Please remember to have your mask in place in the mail center as well. It’s all about being a good neighbor.
The Resident Advisory Committee recently worked on new guidelines for the River Bluffs resident’s Facebook page. Their discussions grew out of many questions about what the page was for, and what it was not for. While there are many choices of social media outlets to discuss many things, the RAC felt that establishing guidelines for the residents Facebook page would be beneficial going forward and I agreed with them 100%. A Facebook committee consisting of two RAC members, a resident and someone from the sales office will serve as the administrators for the site and have the ability to admit new residents and perform other administrative functions on the page. Currently serving on the committee are Kim Koster, Scharlotte Eby, Elsie Freund and Georgette Gaddy from the office. The new guidelines can be found within this link: River Bluffs Facebook Page Guidelines.
Thanks for your continued support of River Bluffs and have a great weekend.
