Good afternoon,
As you have likely seen, activity in the neighborhood is at an all-time high. We are seeing buyers continue to come in and discover what a special place this is and we expect the brisk activity to continue through the summer and into the fall. The last part of Rosewood Landing was recently recorded and many of those homesites are already under contract. Construction on a second Mariner’s Watch townhome building will begin in the next couple of months as we have already sold two of the three units in that building and two of the three in the first building. Additionally, thirty seven Cottage Park homes have been sold thus far. All of this activity is continuing despite record building material costs, extreme labor shortages and a severe backlog in mortgage lending.
During the Annual Meeting I talked about the remaining acreage to the north and our future plans for developing that. It is currently in the design and engineering phase, with a number of possible layouts being considered and much work to be done. The market will really dictate when we begin work on that last section. If you have a specific question or concern about that area, and to make sure that you are getting accurate information, please feel free to email me directly.
Next week there will be an email going out about landscaping services and pruning will also be starting next week, followed by pine straw application. The boat and RV storage area enlargement is almost complete and the contractor will be enlarging the current dog park once they complete the RV site. The new pool and amenity area on the southeast corner of Cottage Park is currently in design and we expect to see construction begin this fall.
Attached is a VERY important memo about security in the community and the need for all of us to participate in the effort to keep our neighborhood safe. This has to do with the front gate, the call box and the use of access codes. Security Reminder for River Bluffs Residents. Please don’t just skim this as it pertains to all of us.
Thanks for your continued support of River Bluffs and have a great Holiday weekend.
