Good morning,

As indicated in Friday’s update, the railroad bridge over the NE Cape Fear River will be down until December 16th, 2021. Below is information provided to us this morning by the Coast Guard:

Northeast Cape Fear River – CSX Hilton Railroad Bridge – To facilitate the repairs, the bridge will be maintained in the closed-to-navigation

position from 7 a.m. on October 25, 2021, to 5 p.m. on December 16, 2021. The bridge has vertical clearance of 6 feet above mean high water

in the closed position. Vessels able to pass through the bridge in the closed position may do so at any time. The bridge will not be able to open

for emergencies. At all other times, the drawbridge will operate in accordance with the operating regulations set out in Title 33 Code of Federal

Regulations Part 117.829(b). Mariners are urged to use caution when transiting the area.

We will pass along additional information as we get it. Have a great Thanksgiving.
