River Bluffs 2022 Spring Golf Outing – Castle Bay Country Club, April 13, 2022
This will be a Shotgun Start 8:30am
Shotgun Start:
Each foursome will start at the same time on a different hole.
For example, if you start on the 7th hole, your 18th hole will be the 6th
This allows everyone to finish at approximately the same time.
The outing is open to River Bluffs residents, landowners or people who have a home under construction. Due to the positive turnout from past tournaments, guests from outside the neighborhood are not invited.
The cost will be $25.00 per person (to be paid by March 28th) plus the $40.00 greens fees that you will pay when you get to the golf course prior to your round.
The $25.00 will go towards the prizes, lunch, snacks and drinks after the outing. We will have the lunch in River Bluffs starting at ~1:30PM.
The Green Fees will be $40.00 and includes 18 holes of golf, the golf cart and a bag of range balls for each participant. Green Fees are to be paid to the golf course the day of the tournament.
As we did in the past tournaments, the lunch is for golfers only. Wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc., are not invited. The intent is to have golfers mingle, get to know each other and enhance the camaraderie amongst the golfers in River Bluffs. We are expecting some new players who have not played with us before so please, if you see someone you don’t recognize, introduce yourself and make them feel welcome.
As we have done before, the tournament will be “Captain’s Choice”
We are eliminating the rule where each foursome must play one drive from each player on both the front 9 and the back 9. For this outing, we will just play the best tee shot irrespective of who hit the ball. Just have fun!
