Good Afternoon,

It is Tuesday afternoon and a number of preparations have been made in anticipation of the coming hurricane. Almost all of the signage has been removed as well as anything that might become airborne. Porches will remain open today until 3:00 but will be closed tomorrow so that the staff can prepare with their families. We are not sure when we will reopen as much will depend on our ability to get back to the property after the storm.

If you have not removed furniture, plants etc from your patios you should do so today or in the morning. Its also a good idea to check around your house and if there is a catch basin nearby, check to make sure there are no obstructions to it. We have had some reports of plywood being removed from job sites around the property. Please remember that the builders need that material to secure the homes or are having it picked up to be returned. I have personally inspected each building site and spoken to each builder regarding their progress, or lack thereof, of clean up. Stello is the only one yet to have begun cleanup and I have spoken to him today and he assured me that his sites would be cleaned up by tomorrow. To be fair, I notified all of the builders that they had till noon tomorrow to get it done.

If we lose power and cell phone coverage the following residents have two way radios if there should be a life threatening emergency.

Lori Nicholls- 216 Camber Drive

Otis White- 365 Cornubia Drive

Alan Morris – 3629 Rosewood Landing ALAN ALSO HAS THE AED (DEFIBRILLATOR) AT HIS HOUSE IN CASE OF NO POWER AND LACK OF ACCESS TO THE FITNESS CENTER. IF CELL PHONES DON’T WORK AND YOU NEED THE AED, GO TO ONE OF THE THREE HOUSES INDICATED ABOVE SO THEY CAN CONTACT ALAN.

Please stay inside during the storm event and exercise extreme caution if you go outside after the storm. As we discussed yesterday, most injuries occur after a storm from people not paying attention to their surroundings and respecting the fact that what was has been greatly disrupted. We will continue with information updates as we have more to pass along. Attached is a summary of the meeting minutes from yesterday as well as some useful information from the Red Cross and the River Bluffs Neighborhood Watch volunteers.

Please be safe and know that we are going to try and get things back to normal as soon as it is reasonably safe to do so.
