Just a reminder-
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will be holding a public information session this Thursday evening from 5:00p.m to 7:00p.m. at the Wave Transit Operations Center located at 1480 Castle Hayne Road (just before you merge onto MLK Parkway). The meeting is meant to provide information about the installation of a roundabout at Castle Hayne Road and 23rd Street and the widening of Castle Hayne Road from MLK to the I-140 interchange. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback. We have been in close communication with NC DOT regarding this project and it calls for some notable improvements to that portion of Castle Hayne Road.
Also, It was reported that someone is feeding deer near the end of White Cliffs Drive. Please do not feed any of our wildlife as that creates an association of food to humans for all animals and that just simply won’t end well. Thanks for your help with this. Have a great evening.
