Good afternoon,
Just wanted to provide everyone with a quick update on some happenings in the community. The weather has certainly turned a little cooler so its a great time to get out and walk the community or the river walk.
- You may have seen the large dock sections down at the boat ramp parking lot. Those are the parts for the new boat slips that will be installed in the next several weeks. A large barge will appear on our banks sometime in the next couple of weeks and that will be used to drive the pilings into the river bed and hold the docks in place. Water and power connections will be going on during that timeframe as well.
- DosEddies plays at Porches tonight starting at 6:30. Come see this super popular duo and visit with your neighbors.
- Don’t forget the golf cart event tomorrow from 2:00-6:00 in front of Porches Cafe. This will be a great time to get your cart inspected, look at different models of golf carts and schedule a more involved maintenance visit if need be.
- Immediately following the golf cart event Porches will host Trivia from 6:30 on. Come see who the “smart people” are and have a great time in the process.
- You might have noticed that we have added additional striping to the first tennis court that allows it to be used as two pickle ball courts. The portable nets have arrived as well and will be available for times when there are large groups.
In closing, please remember that its always best to keep your doors locked and your garage doors closed. Have a fantastic weekend and look for a more extensive update next week.
