Good afternoon,

I write this email with somewhat mixed emotions as I fear some may choose to take offense to it but I hope most, if not all, will understand the intent of it. In my email update last Friday I requested that residents who had questions or concerns please call or email the office and refrain from coming into the Sales Center. The reason for that request was based solely on the recent guidance  from government and health officials to maintain “social distancing” as a way to prevent illness and the potential spread of illness during this outbreak of Covid-19. Over the last three days we have had over twenty visitors to the Sales Center for items that easily could’ve been handled through email or phone calls. Please understand that I’m not intending to “call anyone out” but these visits create havoc for the protocols we have established internally to keep ourselves, and potential customers, safe while here. We each have our own space in the office and have established safe ways to communicate, transfer documents and even how to go in and out of the refrigerator. We have had potential customers visit the neighborhood this past week and the agents and staff have a way to go through the sales process with them without any undue exposure. This includes everything from the pens they use to how we dispose of their water bottles when they finish with them.

I am certainly no expert on these matters and I don’t know when this will end but one thing I do know is that the more aggressive we are about staying separated from each other the more likely we are to lessen the chance of spreading this illness in our neighborhood.  Additionally, the more aggressive we are in adhering to the established protocols the more quickly the economic effects of this crisis should subside and normal sales will continue. Along with that, I want nothing more than to bring the Porches team back to work. Thank you very much for understanding and feel free to reach out (via phone or email) with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your help.
