Good afternoon,

As of the 11:00 a.m. update is does appear that the effects of Isaias will be felt in our are starting late this afternoon into tonight. It is thought that the storm will most likely strengthen to a Category 1 hurricane before making landfall somewhere in South Carolina. Keep in mind that the current forecast is just that, a forecast, a you should routinely check the media for updates on the storm. Please take the time today to remove items from your porch or yard that may blow around and cause damage to your home. The pool furniture has been put away and other preparations were made this morning around the community as well. Please note that the front gates will be kept open tonight as they risk being damaged by high winds when closed.

The storm appears to be relatively fast moving and is currently forecasted to be out of the area by tomorrow afternoon. Please be vigilant tonight and make sure all of your preparations are done by late this afternoon. Crews will be on site as soon as it is safe for them to be and they have secured their own homes as well. Remember that most injuries related to hurricanes happen after the storm passes. We will let everyone know if new information becomes available but for now I suggest catching a nap this afternoon as it will likely be a bumpy night. Be vigilant and be safe. The office will be closing early this afternoon and will reopen tomorrow as soon as it is practical to do so.

Thanks for your continued support.
