Our River Bluffs Pickleball Club remains active, with players becoming more experienced and skilled all the time. As most of you know, we have Open Play for all every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday morning from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. We adjust the time based on the seasons.

Although these morning groups are fun, they can be pretty competitive as well. For those who would rather play at a lighter and slower pace, please feel free to utilize our courts at other times. Another option during the regular Open Play, are the two lined pickleball courts on Tennis Court A. (The Tennis Club has their Open Play on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, so please avoid using the tennis courts during these times.) The two temporary nets are stored in the on-site restrooms. Most of our players are on the TeamReach app, and I encourage you to reach out to fellow players to organize alternate play days/times. After downloading the TeamReachapp, use Group Code: 0-0-1 for the RBPC.

Although it has been fun and rewarding, I am stepping down as RBPC Manager effective April 30. Its time to inject fresh ideas and goals for the club. The position is open to any RBPC member, so please forward your name to me (at Jackie.niedermayer@gmail.com) no later than April 12; then I’ll put a vote out to club members for final selection.

Please be sure to join the RBPC on our community website to be notified of updates. We also have a RBPC Facebook group for your information. For both new and experienced players, there are many “how-to” pickleball videos on YouTube to help guide you.
