Spring is in full swing at River Bluffs, and summer will be here before you know it! While you are out and about enjoying the warm weather and blooming azaleas, be sure to take a moment to explore and discover the beauty of our one-of-a-kind community. If you’re looking for more to do this season, check out our list of fun activities to do within the neighborhood.
1. Take a Dip in the Pool
Our community pool opened on Easter Sunday this year, and we’re very excited to kick off pool season! Located in Davis Square, the pool is the perfect place to gather for a little fun in the sun and casual conversation with neighbors and community staff. It’s also a great space to bring your kids or grandkids for a splash in the water or a light bite at Porches Cafe. Soak in a little vitamin D with beautiful treetop and home views at the pool today!
2. Stroll the Riverwalk
Love to enjoy nature? Look no further! Our newly constructed Riverwalk and Marina is a great location to walk or jog, have a picnic, and enjoy the breeze along the Northeastern Cape Fear River. Scheduled for completion this summer, we’re expecting the new Riverwalk and Marina to be fun new gathering space for residents and guests who enjoy boating, kayaking, and more. Experience a little nature therapy by passing time by the water – you’ll be glad you did.
3. Explore the Neighborhood Trails
If you enjoy a great walk or run surrounded by nature, you are going to love seeing our community in bloom this spring and summer. Discover the natural beauty of our community by getting outdoors and exploring the many trails that surrounded the neighborhood. We have many different types of flora and fauna to admire as well as local animals and birds. You never know what you might see on the walking trails, so remember to bring a camera with you capture the moment.
4. Enjoy Live Music at Porches
Enjoy a delicious meal, great live music, and a dance on the patio with Dennis Martin & the Baby Boomer Band all spring and summer at Porches Cafe! We have performances scheduled for once a month starting April 21 from 6 to 9 pm. Additional performances are scheduled May 19 from 7 to 10 pm, June 23 from 6 to 9 pm, July 21 from 6 to 9 pm, August 18 from 6 to 9 pm, and September 15 from 6 to 9 pm. Bring your appetite and dancing shoes for some evening jams and good times with family and friends.
5. Admire Sunset over the River
Nothing is sweeter than a warm Carolina sunset along the water. Residents at River Bluffs enjoy this luxury just steps from their front door, making it a must-do spring and summer activity at our community. The neighborhood is elevated above the bluffs of the river, providing unobstructed, gorgeous water sunset views. But don’t take our word for it, get out there and see for yourself, it’s breathtaking!
